Currency and Payment
The currency used in Germany is Euro ( € ). Credit cards such as Visa, MasterCard and American Express are acceptable at hotels, large restaurants and shopping centers.
Insurance
It shall be the responsibility of the participants to cover themselves with appropriate insurance cover. Neither the host nor ISPRS shall be responsible for any damage caused to participants as part of attending the workshop.
The workshop organizers do not accept liability for personal injuries sustained, or for loss of, or damage to, property belonging to workshop participants or their accompanying persons, either during or as a result of the workshop. Please check the validity of your own insurance.
Language
The workshop language is English.
Most people in Germany understand or speak English. Hotels employ staff in general are fluent in English or other second languages.
Electricity
The electrical voltage in Germany is 230 V / 50 Hz. All hotels provide 110v outlets for electrical razors.
Weather
The temperature in June ranges from about 12 to 22 °C. A day has 12 hours of sunshine, but also rainfall can be expected.
Visa
The workshop organizer will send a letter of invitation (without promise of financial support) upon request to participants. Information about the participant should be provided, including given name, surname, gender, birthday, nationality, passport number, entrance date, departure date, contact information (mail address, phone number, fax number, e-mail address).
